The second week of the bowling season is in the books and both teams were fantastic once again coming away with two victories and both teams are 4-0 on the young season.

 

In the first match the boys went up against a 2-0 Standish team and the Vikings started out fast by winning the two baker games by a score of 203-143 and 214-195. In the first Peterson game Standish started off strong and held the lead thru 7 frames by almost 100 pins but the Vikings didn’t blink and came back to win the Peterson game by a score of 987-941. Noah Conley (11) lead the way with a 245, Mason Eddy (10) 235, Logan Lemmer (11) 197 Zach Crawford (10) 171 and Kasey Kretz (11) 139. Standish came back in the second Peterson game and beat the Vikings 825-816. Mason Eddy (10) lead the way with a 202, Noah Conley (11) 189, Logan Lemmer (11) 184, Zach Crawford (10) 126 and Kasey Kretz (11) 116. The Vikings won the match by a score of 21-9 over Standish to break a first place tie.

 

In the second match the Vikings went up against Chesaning and had no problem, winning the match by a score of 29-1. The Vikings won both baker games by a score of 174-115 and 234-152. In the first Peterson game the Vikings won going away by a score of 974-564. Mason Eddy (10) lead the way with a 235, Zach Crawford (10) 207, Logan Lemmer (11) 182, Kasey Kretz (11) 176 and Noah Conley (11) 174. The Vikings also won the second Peterson easily by a score of 982-679. Mason Eddy (10) lead the way with a 245, Logan Lemmer (11) 217, Noah Conley (11) 215, Kasey Kretz (11) 154 and Zach Crawford 151.

 

The Lady Vikings had no problem with Standish in their first match winning the match by a score of 29-1. The Lady Vikings won both baker games by a score of 134-112 and 163-120. In the first Peterson game the Lady Vikings won by 341 pins 903-562. Becca Curtis (12) lead the way with a 256, Zoe Mitchell (10) 178, Abby Bremer (9) 159, Crystal Demijohn (11) 157 and Hallie Clark (12) 153. In the second Peterson game the Lady Vikings had no problems winning by a score of 738-599. Becca Curtis (12) lead the way with a 185, Abby Bremer (9) 166, Crystal Demijohn (11) 140, Elizabeth Jacob (10) 131 and Courtney Sayer (12) 116.

 

The Lady Vikings won the second match 29-1 against Chesaning. The Lady Vikings won both baker games by a score of 153-108 and 172-87. In the first Peterson game the Lady Vikings walked to an easy victory 819-551. Zoe Mitchell (10) lead the way with a 192, Becca Curtis (12) 188, Hallie Clark (12) 158, Abby Bremer (9) 148 and Crystal Demijohn (11) 133. The Lady Vikings won the second Peterson game by a score of 806-560. Zoe Mitchell (10) lead the way with a 188, Abby Bremer (9) 184, Becca Curtis (12) 178, Courtney Sayer (12) 145 and Elizabeth Jacob (10) 111.

 

Next week the teams are in Pinconning with a start time of 10 am. The Lady Vikings are going up against Bullock Creek and Carrollton. The Boys have a bye in their first match and then have a showdown with the host Spartans from Pinconning for first place in the second match. Good luck to both teams next week!
