Bowling_945-300x168 Another weekend of bowling is in the books with one more regular week to go in the season before the TVC Tournament which is being held on Friday Feb 20th at 300 Bowl in Alma.

The boys split their matches going 1-1 against Carrollton and Valley Lutheran. We won the first match against Carrollton 22-8. We split the bakers with Carrollton winning the first one 177-148 and Swan Valley took the second one 145-125. Swan Valley took both Peterson games 721-671 and 838-772. In the first Peterson game Josh Goushaw (11) had a team high game of 181. In the second Peterson game Noah Conley (9) had a team high game of 218 Mike Wagner (12) 180.

In the second match Valley Lutheran won 18-12. Valley took both baker games 170-162 and 177-160. Swan Valley took the first Peterson game 910-817. Randy Jacob (12) had a team high game of 219 Josh Goushaw (11) 204 Noah Conley (9) 186 and Brett Fallis (10) 185. Valley Lutheran took the second Peterson 800-776. In the second Peterson Rand Jacob (12) had a team high game of 183 Josh Goushaw (11) 176.

With the weekend split Swan Valley Boys stand at 4-4 on the season. Looking to improve on the mark next weekend against Freeland and Hemlock.

The Girls team lost both matches over the weekend to fall to 1-7.

In the first match against Carrollton they lost 23-7. In the first Peterson game Hallie Clark (10) had a team high game of 145. In the second Peterson game Hallie Clark (10) had a team high game of 188 Nicki Crump (10) 139.

In the second match against Valley Lutheran they did not fair much better loosing 22-8. In the first Peterson game Hallie Clark (10) had a team high game of 143 Nicki Crump (10) 117 Alyssa Hafner (10) 115 Katie Martin (9) 112. In the second Peterson game Katie Martin (9) had a team high game of 147 Hallie Clark (10) 130 Alyssa Hafner (10) 121.

Next week the girls are looking to finish the season strong against Freeland and Hemlock.
