Week 4 of the Tri Valley Central bowling season is in the books and both teams rolled their way to two victories to remain undefeated on the season.

The boys started off slow in their first match against Bullock Creek by splitting the baker games winning the first one 182-138 and losing the second one 165-112. They found themselves down in a match for the first time all year heading into the Petersons but responded well by winning the first Persterson 911-819. Mason Eddy (10) lead the charge with a 222, Noah Conley (11) 215, Logan Lemmer (11) 181, Zach Crawford (10) 161 and Kasey Kretz (11) 157. The Vikings fought hard for the victory in the second Peterson 882-821. Mason Eddy (10) lead the way with a 200, Logan Lemmer (11) 194, Zach Crawford (10) 180, Kasey Kretz (11) 157 and Noah Conley (11) 151. The Vikings won the match 20 20 ½ to 9 ½.

In the second match against Carrollton, the Vikings had little trouble dispatching the Cavilers by a score of 28-2. The Vikings won both baker games 159-113 and 162-123. In the first Peterson the Vikings walked away from them with a 841-525 victory. Logan Lemmer (11) lead the way with a 188, Mason Eddy (10) 184, Zach Crawford (10) 164, Noah Conley (11) 153 and Kasey Kretz (11) 152. In the second Peterson,  the Vikings once again did not have any trouble with the Cavilers winning by a score of 910-416. Mason Eddy (10) lead the way with a 256, Logan Lemmer (11) 254, Noah Conley (11) 154, Zach Crawford (10) 124 and Kasey Kretz (11) 122.

In the Lady Vikings first match was a back and forth hard fought victory 19-11 against the Lady Falcons of Freeland. The teams split the baker games with Freeland winning the first one 133-120 and the Lady Vikings taking the second one 167-125 and holding a slim 6-4 lead heading into the Peterson games. Once again the teams split the Peterson games with Freeland winning the first one 701-678. In that game the Lady Vikings were lead by Becca Curtis (12) with a 161, Hallie Clark (12) 159 Crystal Demijohn (11) 135, Courtney Sayer (12) 123 and Elizabeth Jacob (10) 100. The Lady Vikings came back in a big way to take the second Peterson 791-653. Becca Curtis (12) lead the way with a 197, Abby Bremer (9) 165, Hallie Clark (12) 164, Courtney Sayer (12) 144, and Crystal Demijohn (11) 121.

In the second match, the Lady Vikings rolled to an easy 26-4 victory against Standish. The Lady Vikings took both baker games with impressive scores of 218-159 and 222-101. The Lady Vikings kept that momentum going by winning both Peterson games. They won the first won 647-577 lead by Becca Curtis (12) 174, Hallie Clark (12) 129, Courtney Sayer (12) 119, Crystal Demijohn (11) 118 and Alyssa Hafner (12) 107. The Lady Vikings won the second Peterson by a score of 735-659 lead the way by Abby Bremer (9) 203, then Hallie Clark (12) came in relief of Becca Curtis and shot a 180, Crystal Demijon (11) and Courtney Sayer (12) both shot 121 and Elizabeth Jacob (10) 110.

 

Saturday, Jan 28th both teams are in action at Arenac Lanes in Standish at 10 am with the Lady Vikings facing off against Chesaning and Bullock Creek and that match is another showdown for first place with the Lancers only a game behind the Lady Vikings.  The Boys will face off against Freeland and Standish.
