bowling2 Bowling Results February 13The last week of the regular season is in the books and I am proud of both teams for the season they had. Both teams improved on their win totals from last year. The Girls improved by 6 wins to finish at 7-5 and the Boys improved by 5 wins to finish at 10-2. Both teams bowled two matches on Saturday against Carrollton and Bullock Creek.

 

The Boys faced Carrollton in their first match and won by a score of 27-3. The Vikings won both baker games by a score of 193-188 and 178-145. The Vikings continued to bowl very well in the Peterson games by winning both by a score of 981-885 and 943-708. In the first Peterson game Logan Lemmer (10) lead the way with a 219, Mason Eddy (9) 217, Jarrett Thomas (12) 215 Jay Schimmoller (12) 174 and Noah Conley (10) 156. In the second game Mason Eddy (9) lead the way with a 257, Jarrett Thomas (12) 203, Kasey Kretz (10) 189, Josh Goushaw (12) 160 and Zach Crawford (9) 134.

 

The Boys won their second match against Bullok Creek 27-3. The Vikings continued to bowl well throughout their second match as well by winning both baker games by a score of 213-118 and 181-119 and then going on to take both Peterson games by a score of 910-713 and 922-714. In the first Peterson game Mason Eddy (9) lead the way with a 225, Jay Schimmoller (12) 191, Jarrett Thomas (12) 184, Logan Lemmer (10) 181 and Kasey Kretz (10) 129. In the second game Mason Eddy (9) lead the way with a 247, Zach Crawford (9) 182, Josh Goushaw (12) 180, Noah Conley (10) 165 and Jarrett Thomas (12) 148.

 

In the first match against Carrollton the Lady Vikings lost a close match 18-12. Carrollton took both baker games 193-126 and 156-152. The teams split the Peterson games with Carrollton winning the first one 732-703 and the Lady Vikings taking the second one 737-607. In the first game Becca Curtis (11) lead the way with a 190, Gabi Gonzalez (11) 151, Hallie Clark (11) 127, Elizabeth Jacob (9) 124 and Alyssa Hafner (11) 111. In the second game Beccar Curtis (11) lead the way with a 199, Hallie Clark (11) 194, Alyssa Hafner (11) 138 and Gabi Gonzalez (11) 112.

 

The Lady Vikings lost their second match to Bullock Creek 26-4. They lost both baker games 158-153 and 141-137 and they lost both Peterson games 759-717 and 707-668. In the first game Becca Curtis (11) lead the way with a 194, Hallie Clark (11) 160, Gabi Gonzalez (11) 153 and Alyssa Hafner (11) 126. In the second game Becca Curtis (11) lead the way with a 212, Gabi Gonzalez (11) 135, Alyssa Hafner (11) 113 and Elizabeth Jacob (9) 110.

 

This Saturday is the TVC Tournament at State Lanes starting at 9 am with the boys and the girls start at Noon. Next Friday and Saturday is Regional’s at Candlelite and Lefever’s.
