The Boys and Girls Varsity Bowling Teams were in action this past Saturday and they both had two matches and both teams did very well by winning both of their matches. With their two victories both teams moved into second place and with a little help next Saturday both teams could finish in a tie for the division title.

 

The Boys bowled against Valley Lutheran in their first match and were looking for a little payback since Valley Lutheran knocked us off in the first match. The Vikings got the payback with a victory by a score of 20-10. The teams split the baker games with Valley Lutheran taking the first one 234-181 and the Vikings came back to take the second one and totals with a score of 223-152. The teams split the Peterson games as well with the Vikings taking the first one 901-825. In the first games Mason Eddy (9) lead the way with a 215, Logan Lemmer (10) 182, Noah Conley (10) 181, Jay Schimmoller (12) 166 and Jarrett Thomas (12) 157. Valley Lutheran took the second Peterson game 881-834. In the second game Mason Eddy (9) lead the way with a 212, Logan Lemmer (10) 185 and Noah Conley (10) 161.

 

In the second match against Freeland the Vikings won by a score of 26-4 but the match was a lot closer than the score shows.  A total of 42 pins separated the teams in the baker games and a total of 35 pins separated the teams in the Peterson games. The Vikings won both baker games 168-145 and 186-167. The Vikings also took both Peterson games 918-913 and 952-922. In the first game Mason Eddy (9) lead the way with a 220, Jarrett Thomas (12) 210, Jay Schimmoller (12) 184 and Logan Lemmer (10) 178. In the second games Mason Eddy (9) lead the way with a 224, Logan Lemmer (10) 215, Josh Goushaw (12) 190 and Zach Crawford (9) 186.

 

In the first match for the Lady Vikings against the Lady Chargers went the way of the Vikings with a 25-5 victory. The Lady Vikings won both backer games 135-90 and 123-109. The Lady Vikings also won both Peterson games 759-580 and 669-649. In the first games Becca Curtis (11) lead the way with a 199, Alyssa Hafner (11) 176, Nicki Crump (11) 174 and Hallie Clark (11) 145. In the second game Hallie Clark (11) lead the way with a 159, Becca Curtis (11) 151, Nicki Crump (11) 137 and Alyssa Hafner (11) 126.

 

In the second match against Freeland the Lady Vikings pulled out a 21-9 victory. The teams split the baker games with Freeland taking the first one 138-127 and the Lady Vikings taking the second one 160-122. The Lady Vikings took both Peterson games 780-750 and 710-595. In the first game Becca Curtis (11) lead the way with a 267, Hallie Clark (11) 159, Alyssa Hafner (11) 147 and Nicki Crump (11) 125. In the second game Becca Curtis (11) lead the way with a 218, Hallie Clark (11) 143, Alyssa Hafner (11) 123, Gabi Gonzalez (11) 117.

 

Our match on Feb 13th is at Lefevres at 7 am and both teams bowl two matches. Our opponents for the day are Carrollton and Bullock Creek. This is the last week to the regular season. Feb 20th is the TVC Tournament at State Lanes and that is pretty much for all the teams to get together and have a little fun before Regional’s.
