bowling2 Bowling ResultsThe Boys and Girls bowling teams had a great weekend on the lanes this past Saturday at State Lanes.

 

The Boys won both of their matches on Saturday by beating a very pesky Freeland team and Carrollton to run their record on the young season to 4-1.

 

In the first match against Freeland the teams split the baker games with Freeland winning the first one 166-142 and Swan valley bounced back to take the second game 188-153. In the first Peterson game Brendon Welsh of Freeland started off the game with the front 9 and finished with a game high of 266. Mason Eddy (9) had a team high game of 213 Noah Conley (10) 196 and Zach Crawford (9) 182. Swan Valley ended up winning the first Peterson 880-792. Freeland bounced back in the second game behind another strong game by Brendon Welsh who shot 269 for a two game set of 535. Freeland won that game 980-892. Jarrett Thomas (12) lead the way with a 213 Chase Slasinski (12) 196 and Noah Conley (10) 177. Swan Valley won the match 16-14.

 

The second match was against Carrollton which Swan Valley won 24-6. The teams split the baker games with Swan Valley winning the first one 191-131 and Carrollton bouncing back to take the second one 201-143. The Peterson games went the Vikings way with them winning both 843-718 and 751-668. In the first game Noah Conley (10) led the way with a 183 Josh Goushaw (12) 175 and Jarrett Thomas (12) 165. In the second game Zach Crawford (9) led the way with a 161 Jarrett Thomas (12) 158 Kasey Kretz (10) 147 and Noah Conley (10) 145.

 

The Lady Vikings split their matches on Saturday with Freeland and Carrollton to run their record to 4-1 on the season.

 

The Lady Vikings won their first match against Freeland 20-10. The two teams split the baker games with Freeland taking the first one 146-110 and the Lady Vikings bouncing back to take the second one 163-127. With the momentum going into the Peterson games the Lady Vikings kept it rolling by taking both games 663-659 and 629-598. In the first game Hallie Clark (11) had a team high game of 219, Elizabeth Jacob (9) 129 and Babi Gonzalez (11) 124. In the second game Hallie Clark (11) led the way with a 154 Gabi Gonzalez (11) 137 and Alyssa Hafner (11) 135.

 

In the second match the Lady Vikings suffered their first loss of the season to Carrollton 17.5 to 12.5. The teams split the baker games with Carrollton winning the first one 153-107 and the Lady Vikings coming back to take the second one 157-146. The theme continued in the Peterson games with both teams splitting them. Carrollton won the first one 823-655 and the Lady Vikings bouncing back in the second game winning 716-676. In the first game Hallie Clark (11) led the way with a 179 Gabi Gonzalez (11) 144 Nicki Crump (11) 113. In the second game Hallie Clark (11) led the way with a 189 Gabi Gonzalez (11) 151 Alyssa Hafner (11) 134 and Elzabeth Jacob (9) 124.

 

Both teams are in action this Saturday at Crooked Creek at 9 am against Bullock Creek and St Charles.
