Week 6 is in the books and both teams are keeping their undefeated seasons alive with 2 more victories on Saturday. The Boys have wrapped up the Tri Valley Central Division title Saturday and the Girls have clinched a share of the Tri Valley Central Division title as well. With one more victory on Feb 11ththe Girls will win it out right.

 

The boys had to grind out a 17-13 victory over a pesky Pinconning team in the first match. The teams split the baker games with Pinconning winning the first one 199-193 and the Vikings bounced back to take the second one 168-142. The teams split the Peterson games as well with the Viking winning the first one 868-809. Noah Conley (11) lead the way with a 247, Mason Eddy (10) 201, Kasey Kretz (11) 157, Logan Lemmer (11) 136 and Zach Crawford (10) 127. Pinconning bounced back to take the second game 906-869. The Vikings were led by Noah Conley (11) 225, Logan Lemmer (11) 200, Mason Eddy (10) 168, Zach Crawford (10) 141 and Kasey Kretz (11) 135.

 

In the second match Bullock Creek was no match for the Vikings as they rolled to a 25-5 victory. The Vikings won both baker games by a score of 177-133 and 238-132. In the first Peterson game the Vikings won by a score of 786-701. Leading the way for the Vikings was Mason Eddy (10) 180, Logan Lemmer (11) 171, Noah Conley (11) 167, Kasey Kretz (11) 137 and Zach Crawford (10) 131. The Vikings won the second Peterson game 900-762. Mason Eddy (10) led the way with a 249, Logan Lemmer (11) 199, Noah Conley (11) 176, Zach Crawford (10) 150, and Kasey Kretz (11) 136.

 

The Lady Vikings won their first match against Carrollton 23-7. The teams split the baker games with the Lady Vikings winning the first one 149-120 and Carrollton bouncing back to win the second one 146-139. The Lady Vikings won the first Peterson game 711-670 and they were led by Becca Curtis (12) and Hallie Clark (12) with a 159, Crystal Demijohn (11) 156 Alyssa Hafner (12) 123 and Courtney Sayer (12) 114. In the second Peterson game the Lady Vikings rolled to a 819-627 victory. They were led by Becca Curtis (12) 230, Hallie Clark (12) 179, Crystal Demijohn (11) 172, Abby Bremer (9) 136 and Alyssa Hafner (12) 102.

 

The Lady Vikings rolled a 21-9 victory over Freeland in the second match. The Lady Vikings won both baker games 160-134 and 171-136. The ladies from Freeland came out strong in the first Peterson game and won by a score of 882-851. The Lady Vikings were led by Becca Curtis (12) 218, Abby Bremer (9) 179, Hallie Clark (12) 170, Crystal Demijohn (11) 150 and Courtney Sayer (12) 134. The Lady Vikings bounced back in the second Peterson game winning by a score of 810-728. Becca Curtis (12) led the way with a 235, Hallie Clark (12) 181, Crystal Demijohn (11) 135, Courtney Sayer (12) 132 and Abby Bremer (9) 127.

 

The final week of the regular season is Swan Valley’s home match Saturday Feb. 11th at State Lanes with a start time of 1pm. Come out and support the bowling teams as they go for a couple of first in school history. The boys are seeking their first ever undefeated season as the take on Chesaning and the Lady Vikings are seeking their 5th undefeated season in 7 years as they take on Standish and Chesaning. If both teams finish undefeated this will be the first time in school history that both teams are undefeated in the same season.
