SV Bowling Results

Bowling_945-300x168 SV Bowling ResultsThe final regular weekend is in the books for both teams. The girls finished the rebuilding year at 1-9. They worked hard in practice and they were showing signs of improvement throughout the year and I am very proud of them. I want to thank the coaches Bill Mead and Tricia Crawford for the excellent work they did with them this year.

The boys team split over the weekend to finish at 5-5. Started out very well but hit some rough patches down the stretch to finish at .500. The boys did improve on their record from last year to this year.

In the first match against Freeland the Vikings took both baker games by a score of 257-157 and 223-143. The two baker set was the best for the boys all year. These kind of scores at Regional’s next Friday 2/27 will give us a great chance at advancing to the State Finals the following weekend. In the first Peterson game Swan Valley won 1026-933. Noah Conley (9) had a team high game of 245 Josh Goushaw (11) 220 Randy Jacob (12) 213 Kasey Clark (12) 188.  With the match already won I got everyone else in for the second Peterson game which Freeland won 890-789. Noah Conley (9) once again had a team high game of 221 for a two game series of 466 Chase Slasinski (11) 181 Kasey Kretz (9) 161. Final score of the match was Swan Valley 18 ½ Freeland 11 ½

Swan valley lost the second match to Hemlock 24-6. They lost both baker games. In the first Peterson game Swan Valley won 923-902 Josh Goushaw (11) had a team high game 212 Kasey Clark (12) 199 Noah Conley (9) 178 Chase Slasinski (11) 177. In the second Peterson game Swan Valley fell 956-836 Kasey Clark (12) had a team high game of 178 Randy Jacob (12) 173.

This Friday 2/20 is the TVC Tournament at 300 Bowl in Alma. Good luck to both teams this Friday.
