Bowling Regionals

The boys and girls bowling teams competed in Regionals Friday and Saturday at Candlelite Lanes with team event on Friday and the singles event on Saturday. The boys qualified for their second straight trip to the Finals to defend their state title by finishing 3rd with a total score of 3541. The boys were hanging around the cut line all day and during the second Peterson game of qualifying they over took 3rd place and then held onto it by shooting the second highest Peterson game in the final game of qualifying.  This Friday March 3rd the boys will try to become the first team is school history to win back to back state titles. The great season the Lady Vikings had came to an end on Friday when they just missed the cut by finishing 4th with a score of 3208. I am very proud of the Lady Vikings on the season they had and for not giving up Friday. Great job ladies!


Saturday was the singles portion of Regionals and they take the top 10 qualifiers to States this weekend. The boys had one qualifier, Mason Eddy who was the runner up with a score of 1211 and just missed by 38 pins of winning the regional. Logan Lemmer finished in a tie for 17th with a score of 1056, Noah Conley finished 21st with a score of 1038, Zach Crawford finished 41st with a score of 946 and Kasey Kretz finished 79th with a score of 805. I am proud of all the boys! Great bowling over the weekend. Good luck Mason in Singles this Saturday in Battle Creek!


The Lady Vikings did not have anyone qualify for singles on Saturday. Top finisher for the Lady Vikings was Abby Bremer in 20th with a score of 955, Becca Curtis finished 30th with a score of 898, Hallie Clark finished 39th with a score of 848, Crystal Demijohn finished 44th with a score of 828, Courtney Sayer finished 76th with a score of 687 and Elizabeth Jacob finished 83rd with a score of 652. Great bowling ladies!
