Kevin Gavenda Science

Welcome to my webpage, my name is Kevin Gavenda and I have been a teacher at Swan Valley High School for 11 years.  I have taught Physical Science and Chemistry, this year I will have all Physical Science Classes.  I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University and my Master’s Degree from Saginaw Valley State University.  Along with my teaching responsibilities I am also the Varsity Football Offensive Coordinator.  I enjoy hunting, fishing, and most outdoor activities.  I also spend a lot of my time enjoying sports and spending time with my family and friends.  My favorite times are sharing these activities with my wife and two year old son.

Video For April 14, Be sure to pay close attention to the information presented from the ten minute mark on. Be sure to be aware of what the atomic number, mass number and charge of an atom are and how they are determined. Each of them can be determined by knowing the number of protons neutrons and electrons.
