APPROPRIATE SCHOOL DRESS It is the parent’s responsibility to see that their child is dressed appropriately for school and the weather conditions.
Students are not to wear short shorts, midriffs, tank tops, or clothing not appropriate for an educational setting. Children are not allowed to wear shirts, clothing, buttons, patches or pins with printing or pictures on them that are offensive or in poor taste. Children may not wear flip-flops or open-toed shoes in any area of the playground that contains woodchips.
Boots, mittens, and warm clothing are required items for outdoor play in chilly, wet, cold, and muddy conditions. Shorts may be worn before October 1st and after March 31st, weather permitting. It is the parent’s responsibility to see that their child is dressed appropriately for school and the weather conditions. Students will be required to go outside for recess most days.
