Sarah Demand

Welcome to the third grade!  We are going to have a GREAT year!

I started teaching back in 2000 and I have since worked with kids preschool through eighth grade in some form.  I can honestly say I do not have a favorite age or grade, as each brings it’s own joys to my career.  I have three children and reside with them and my husband here in Shields.  You will see me often on the sidelines of games cheering my kids on or shopping at Meijer.  I am proud to say that this will be my seventh year here at Swan Valley Schools, Once a Viking, Always a Viking!

Open communication between parents and teachers is vital to a student’s social and academic growth.  Please feel free to contact me any time at to discuss your child’s progress.  Remember to check SKYWARD weekly to keep up to date on your child’s grades and assignments.  This fabulous service is provided to you 24/7.  You can access SKYWARD though our school’s website or download the app on your phone.
