Kimberly Saylor is the new Swan Valley Performing Arts Center Coordinator. She is bringing her passion for Fine Arts Education and community building to increase program offerings to our students to include new programs like middle school choir and drama. In addition, there will be a focus on bringing more performances and experiences ranging from local bands and performers to lecture series, Community Theater and much more! Kimberly’s experience includes K-12 Music Education, 20 years of Higher Education experience at Saginaw Valley State University and Ferris State University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Saginaw Valley State University as well as a Master’s degree in Administrative Science with certification in Conflict Management and Resolution. She and her husband Mike have been proud members of the Swan Valley Schools community with a 2022 graduate and an upcoming 2nd grader at Shields Elementary. The Swan Valley Community is bursting with talent and Kim is looking forward to working to fill the new Performing Arts Center with culture, music and all the Viking passion we have! 

Expanding the Fine Arts throughout the Swan Valley School District and within the greater community by developing an inclusive space for students to create and explore, while preparing them to use a multitude of talents throughout life. Creating community partnerships as the hub for sharing talent, passion, creativity and the unique energy the Fine Arts can bring to our students and all community stakeholders.
